We have had some changes for our family in the last few weeks.
A couple weeks ago, Craig found out that his company was doing some reorganizing. They wanted to increase his territory (he was manager of Eastern Iowa for a utility construction company.) He would be in charge of Eastern Iowa to Minnesota...for the same salary. He had a feeling something was about to happen. This would mean extremely long hours. He came home and started looking for other job possibilities. The next day, he called about a job he saw online. They asked him to come in for an interview. They hired him. His last day at his previous job, his company dropped a huge contract, which would have resulted in Craig losing his job anyway. Wow! We couldn't believe what God had done. Craig had looked and gotten a different job at just the right time. The next week, his previous company downsized from about 150 employees to 10 in the office, and declared bankruptcy.
We are very thankful for God's provision and a different job. Craig doesn't love it...to say the least, but it is paying the bills for now. He is looking and praying. We are considering the possibility of him returning to school. We just don't know all the details yet or how adults do that with mortgages and families. I know it can be done, we just have to figure out details. So for now, I'm thankful he continues to get up EARLY and go to a job he doesn't necessarily enjoy to provide for Jack and I.

God is good! I'm glad He was looking out for your financial interests and that Craig was listening. Well, it's not fun going to a job you don't like, so I'm praying for another one to pop up for Craig. In the meantime, praise God!
